We need to establish a personal relationship with God. This is the most meaningful and significant decision we can make in our lives.

We need to understand that God loves us and that He has a purpose for our lives. [Christ spoke] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful].

But most of us do not experience this abundant life simply because we do not have a personal relationship with our God and savoir Jesus Christ.

Following are some suggested steps of faith -

We need to recognize that our sins prevent us from knowing God personally; therefore we need to admit to God our sinfulnessand turn away from our sinful nature.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3: 23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" I John 1:9

We need to believe that Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sins and through Him we can experience God's love and forgiveness.

"But God His demonstrates His own love for us in this while we were yet sinners Christ died for us" Romans 5:8

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16 "Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me" John 14:6

Finally we need to commit our life to Jesus, trusting Him to be our Savior and Lord.

"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9,10

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13

If you believe, Jesus is right now willing to come into your life and cleanse you of all your sins, as He has promised. You could make this your prayer of faith - Father God I realize that I am a sinner and have violated your law. I ask for forgiveness for all of my sins. I accept Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal savior. I believe that Jesus shed his blood for the remission of my sin and I believe he rose from the dead on the third day to the newness of life. Teach me your ways and your statues. Give me an understanding of your Holy word. I ask all of these things in Jesus name, Amen.
